abberior CAGE
abberior CAGE dyes is a family of dyes which is non-fluorescent after labeling. Upon illumination with UV light the dyes can be uncaged irreversibly into the bright and photostable fluorescent species. This dye class is suited ideally for PALM, STORM and GSD microscopy applications. Further it can be applied for STED and confocal microscopy (after uncaging). Dr. Belov, one of abberior’s founders, is the inventor of our caged series of dyes. Our dyes are manufactured in-house by our chemist, allowing a seamlessly control of the production chain.
