Avidin/Biotin

Due to the very strong interaction between biotin and avidin, this substrate-protein complex shows one of the strongest non-covalent interactions known in nature. Conjugated with abberior fluorophores, both biotin and avidin become bright and photostable probes for the reporter assay used.
