Mitochondrium

Fluorescent probe to specifically stain mitochondria in living specicmens. Now, in combination of the probe with STED microscopy, the fine mitochondrial substructure known as Cristae become visible and can be investigate. The ability to excite the probe over a long period of time makes it possible to observe the movement of mitochondria and their substructures through microscopic imaging.
