Description

abberior STAR 512 is highly suitable for STED imaging and FCS experiments. Furthermore, abberior STAR 512 serves well as a "donor" in a "donor - acceptor" dye pair used in FRET experiments. This dye can be very effectively excited with excitation lasers at 488 nm or 514 nm. For STED microscopy, abberior STAR 512 can be most efficiently used with STED laser wavelengths between 590 - 610 nm. Our abberior STAR 512 can substitute dyes like Oregon Green® 514, ATTO® 514 or Alexa Fluor® 514. Best results are obtained with freshly prepared samples.
